WATCH Lily Allen shoot her jewellery line campaign!

27 July 2009

Phew! We've just come back from spending the morning with the one and only Lily Allen as she shot the campaign for her new jewellery line, and we are mightily impressed. Not only is she super-smiley and styling herself for the shoot in Kate Moss for Topshop, YSL and vintage Chanel, but the collection's pretty hot too. There are huge green pear pendants, mini cherry rings, fish on chains, smiley Have A Nice Day-esque faces galore, and a few pandas and flamingos thrown in for good measure. So where did the inspiration come from? 'Well, I have a tattoo of a smiley face on my wrist, which kind of comes from my love of acid trance music,' she told us, 'and I did a photo-shoot with iD magazine where I dressed up as a panda, so that's where that came from.'

The collection is awash with enamel brights and glittering diamanté embellished animals, but there's something for everyone, with chic gold coins sitting alongside a necklace with Lily's own name hanging at the end of a sterling silver chain. Oh, and we got a top tip on new BFF Karl Lagerfeld's latest Chanel accessories too: 'Those quilted duffel bags might look massive, but they're the comfiest bags in the world to carry because of the material. They're amazing.' Hmm, wonder if we spy a future collaboration in the works... Check out some of the behind-the-scenes videos right here, and visit our Facebook group for more footage of Lily at the shoot.
