Victoria Beckham turns Fashion Editor

Putting her troubles with David's career in LA behind her, Victoria's been in London this week doing what she does best - working on her fashion line. Wearing one of her £2,095 Carmontelle cashmere-dresses Victoria directed a shoot for an advertising campaign for her new line of dresses. It features models in four different versions of the dresses swinging from seats outside houses on Westbourne Grove. So involved was Victoria with each aspect of the shoot, she took her own snaps on a digital camera and even got on the swing herself to show them how she wanted it done. Maybe that's why she took the unusual step, too, of wearing the same dress as one of her models and even touching up her own make-up on set... Evidence of the dresses selling power suggests Victoria doesn't need to worry so much, though. Three of the versions sold out within 30 minutes of going online at Net-a-Porter earlier this week. (But there are still some at Selfridges and Harrods if you're quick). The day before Victoria was also seen scoping out London's V&A museum - a traditional venue for fashion exhibitions and parties - as a location, so we wonder if we'll be seeing more of her this Fashion Week? Here's hoping.

  • oh yeah cos playing on a swing is really the same as being a fashion editor? maybe she wants to have fun too - grazia get your facts straight

  • Vicky Beckham is not a fashion designer or editor. What training has she had ??????
She has never trained in fashion design or anything similar has she ??
It is an insult to real fashion designers as if it's easy peasy to become one.

  • A self-obsessed person who quite frankly does not look at all attractive with that man's hair cut. Does she think that is feminine. A short crop with a feminine dress and skyscraper heels just doesn't look right. I wouldn't been seen dead with that haircut and as for her big bottom lip and no top lip - no thanks. Just yet another wag with no talent and spoilt.

  • some sad woman out there buying her clothes !
who in their right mind would want to look like her !
why has she never had a nose job ??

  • oriana97 just because she doesnt look the way you think looks nice, it doesnt mean she isnt pretty. We cant all be blessed with perfect lips, and maybe her taste in hairstyles is different to yours. I know its your opinion and everything but you could be a little nicer about it cos if everyone looked one person's version of beautiful then how dull would that be

  • Why should she have a nose job? If you don't like her style or clothes or even her music, I think that's absolutely fine. After all we can't like all the same things. However to have a go at her just because you don't like her lips or nose is just low.
I like the fact that she hasn't got a perfect face, that her smile is wonky, that she suffers from break outs. Beauty comes in all guises.
