Has SuBo scored a high-fashion cover shoot?

This week's we-so-want-this-rumour-to-be-true-we're-going-to-repeat-it-in-the-hope-it-happens news is that Susan Boyle has scored a cover shoot with the September issue of US fashion tome Harper's Bazaar. The pictures were apparently taken at a country house in the UK and SuBo revealed she had only a mini-makeover: ‘Just a slight one. I brush up quite well.' That you do, Susan. Now there are quite a few reasons why we can't imagine this rumour being true. First, it's in a British tabloid. Second, the story acknowledges itself that Susan is one of a ‘handful' of stars being given consideration for the cover. Third, September is the most prestigious issue for any monthly fashion magazine. Fourth, hello, it's just mental! But here are a few reasons we'd love it to be true. First, it's Harpers Bazaar. Second, SuBo would get a kick out of shifting more copies than an anonymous model. Third, we'd love to see her rocking those serious Balmain shoulders. Or fourth, bleaching those bushy eyebrows.
