The British Fashion Council have been whetting our appetite for weeks now, with announcements of Burberry, Pringle of Scotland, Matthew Williamson and co returning to London Fashion Week. And now the provisional schedule is finally here. As usual it opens at 10am with Paul Costelloe on Friday 18 September at the new home of LFW, Somerset House, followed by Caroline Charles and Bora Aksu. But we'd better not party too much on the first night because shows on Saturday 19 September start at 9am with Peter Jensen. Hot on his heels is Mark Fast, Mary Katrantzou, Kinder Aggugini, Danielle Scutt, Ashish, Charles Anastase and PPQ, which is guaranteed to provide some It Brit front row/model line-up watching. (Pixie v Peaches we reckon). Sunday sees designs from Louise Goldin, Nicole Farhi, Richard Nicoll and Vivienne Westwood hit the catwalk. Matthew Williamson – who has promised he won't do a repeat of the Prince moment last time he showed at LFW – is clearly busy still finding his location for his show that day too. Monday 21 September is equally packed: Meadham Kirchhoff kick it off at 9am, with Luella, Marios Schwab, Todd Lynn, Christopher Kane, House of Holland – which means Agyness Deyn – Paul Smith, Savannah and Sienna Miller's Twenty8Twelve and Pringle of Scotland all showing. On the last day, Tuesday 22 September, Jeremy Scott returns to the London catwalks, there'll be new talent on display at Fashion East, Jonathan Saunders shows and bound-to-be spectacular Burberry closes the week with a show in SW1 followed by a party at their new London HQ. Get those dates in your diary now. It's going to be a busy one!
