Grazia goes behind the scenes with Fearne Cotton

14 July 2009

She’s the girl-next-door who will always be remembered for that onscreen Live 8 proposition from Robbie Williams, but there’s more to perky presenter Fearne Cotton than meets the eye. Grazia caught up with the rising fashionista outside her local South London pub to talk about her new fashion line for – the fashion site that launched last week – and her upcoming show Fearne And…, where she follows celebrities around to ‘peel away the onion skin of their lives’. It all sounds pretty full on for someone who comes across as so laid-back, but it’s good to know that Fearne’s a lot more like the rest of us than you might think. ‘I want to succeed as much as I can’, she told us. ‘I’ve worked hard and if it didn’t go anywhere, I’d be gutted. I need to be told to chill out sometimes. Even if I’m just at home I think I should be doing something productive.’ And what about her much talked about style? ‘Some days I want to wear jeans and Converse, others I want to dress up in a ‘70s floor-length number... my style is a bit of an eclectic mess.’ That's why we love you Fearne!
