Cameron Diaz channels Madonna

We have to admit we did a bit of a double take when we spied these fabulous shots taken by renowned photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Because 36-year-old Cameron Diaz looks the spitting image of a young Madonna in V Magazine's Beauty Issue, out today. But speaking about her own image and the pressure she's made to feel into looking a certain way, it's not hard to see why: 'I'm not going to be the 23-year old ingénue again,' she says. 'If I tried to hold on to that, I'd be a pretty unhappy individual.' And just as Madonna continues to do well into the Noughties, Diaz is a big believer in reinvention when it comes to the fame game: 'Every once in a while, you'll have those moments when people give you the stink eye. And you're like "What the **** is your problem? What, am I horrific-looking?" But really what they're thinking is, "Am I seeing who I think I'm seeing?" It's just a shock.'
