It's always the quiet ones! From dressing down to going full throttle on the red carpet this week's style crush Diane Kruger does it quietly but with the utmost style. We've been watching her since Troy and love her understated nature. Runway looks and glamorous gowns (even the outrageous ones) are worn effortlessly, because Diane knows what suits her - and that goes for her hair and make-up too. Simple smoky eyes with natural lips, her blonde locks swept off her face (whether her hair's up or down); well you know what they say - if it ain't broke... Ms. Kruger is also quite the master when it comes to simple accessorising. Note a chic envelope clutch here, an unpredictable belt there, and her arm of eclectic bracelets worn to the CFDA Fashion Awards with a Jason Wu cocktail dress was the work of a pro! chanelgirl - Ah, it's that ballet training, the teeny-tiny dancer's body Tracey Anderson is always going on about, not to mention the sheer poise - I'm convinced it's what lets Diane and SJP get away with their more 'experimental' outfits. Occasionally a little outre, but always elegant and never, ever vulgar or messy. Love it that she thinks the hair through differently for each look. Style masterclass material, but I still think Thandie Newton has the edge in the red-carpet game.
