02 July 2009

Looks like one clothing line isn't enough for Beyoncé. Her alter ego Sasha Fierce has inspired a new collection for her label House of Deréon, co-designed with her mother Tina Knowles, to include Thierry Mugler-style clothes and accessories. 'The line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express,' said the singer. Well, if it means we'll be able to do that Single Ladies routine finally... Meanwhile, German supermodel Claudia Schiffer has just been named as one of the speakers at the International Herald Tribune's annual conference on luxury, held in Berlin. Because now's the time to be talking about extravagance... [Fashionista]

Looks like the recession's been hitting Ashley Olsen pretty hard, too. She's revealed that she wears her fashion label The Row – co-designed with twin sister Mary-Kate – ‘every day'. That's living the brand. [Just Jared]

If you happen to be a top sports star you should be alright though. Top fashion brand Emporio Armani will be sponsoring this year's world swimming championships in Rome, and Giorgio himself has created the official uniforms for the Italian team. [FWD]

It's too late for this Italian swimming champ though. The 22-year-old suffered one of the best wardrobe malfunctions we've seen in years when her £318 swimming costume split open. Whoops! [Daily Mail]
