9am news: Agyness Deyn strips off, plus why Anna Wintour needs a lesson in diplomacy

29 June 2009

Looks like any plans Agy might have had to quit modelling are still pretty hazy. Just check out these images from the summer issue of 032c magazine, where she's posed completely nude for photographer Alasdair McLellan. Ooh er. [Refinery 29]

Jesus Luz is still strutting his stuff though. Fresh from the Dolce & Gabbana menswear show over in Milan, the Brazilian has been spotted walking the Givenchy catwalk in Paris. Madge will be proud. [NY Mag]

And it turns out Jesus is leading the charge where male beauty is concerned too, because models and action stars alike are becoming increasingly less rugged. Apparently, women are leaning more towards the androgynous look in the belief that it signals fidelity. Hmmm... [Guardian]

Meanwhile, next year's Met Ball looks set to be in trouble as New York's Metropolitan Museum is ‘downsizing'. According to reports, the 2010 gala will be ‘a much less splashy affair'. Boo. [FWD]

But let's hope Anna Wintour isn't too upset by the news. The US Vogue Editor in Chief might have to start minding her ps and qs following the release of the trailer for new documentary The September Issue, where she says Jennifer Garner looks pregnant, tells Oscar de la Renta one of his designs isn't enough for a fashion show, and calls Sienna Miller ‘lacklustre'. Nice. [NY Daily News]
