Vivienne Westwood's plastic fantastic shoes!

For those of us old enough to remember buckled up jelly shoes - or even Paul Smith's iconic loafers with a plastic heel containing a souvenir model of the Eiffel Tower - then Brazilian footwear brand Melissa might just be familiar to you. But now celebrating 30 years in fashion and a host of collaborations with the likes of Jean-Paul Gaultier and architect Zaha Hadid, you're probably more familiar with Melissa's recent collaboration with Vivienne Westwood, resulting in a super cute shoe with a heart on the front. So while at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, we got the scoop on Vivienne Westwood's newest shoe for the fantastic plastic footwear brand - and we've got the first pics! This wedge shoe is pure Vivienne, and taps into the geisha style that has become her signature. Plus, those wings are sure to make whizzing around the supermarket a hell of a lot easier... http://www.melissaplasticdreams.com/
