Sao Paulo Fashion Week is well and truly underway, and last night saw Graziadaily in a room full of supermodels for the premiere of a new documentary revealing the secrets and tears behind the careers of top models Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Raquel Zimmerman, Isabelli Fontana and Carol Trentini among others. With all those Brazilian glamazons in one room, we felt decidedly inferior. And pale. But Alexandre Herchcovitch's spring/summer 2010 collection most definitely cheered us up, and while we give tailoring whizz Herchcovitch top marks for pushing the envelope, we're not sure if Minnie Mouse sleeves will really catch on. Just expect a trickle-down effect and plenty of shoulder action on next summer's catwalks if this - our first preview of September's shows - is anything to go by.... Meanwhile, Brazilian brand Colcci must have paid some serious wedge to have the super open their show, with the whole room packed to the rafters to watch Miss Bundchen strut her stuff down the catwalk no less than three times. And when he was followed out by Madonna's current beau Jesus Luz (walking to "Hung Up", we kid you not), the crowd went even crazier. But what really gets us, is that Gisele had fried chicken and cococut water delivered to her private dressing room before the show, and still managed to look like the most beautiful woman on the plant. Grrr.
