Beauty 118: Your burning beauty questions answered!

It's Thursday afternoon and you know what that means - the chance to get your burning questions answered by Grazia's Assistant Beauty Editor Lauren Murdoch-Smith. We've been sorting through the beauty cupboard to bring you the best conditioner, eyelash curlers and the genius solution to getting perfectly shaped eyebrows. If you've got a question you want answered next week, just post it below or email graziadaily@graziamagazine.co.uk

Q: I'm having problems when shaping my eyebrows as I'm unsure of the proportions that they should be plucked to in relation to my eyes. Do you have any clever tips or handy tools I can use to achieve the most flattering shape? - d101
A: You can try Shavata's eyebrow shapers, which have lots of stencils of lots of different styles of eyebrows. Then when you've chosen the shape you can use them so that you can tweeze in the right areas. Remember to get a good set of tweezers too from Tweezerman or Shavata. www.shavata.co.uk

Q: Which makeup brand does the best eyelash curlers? - HeadtoToe
A: That's easy! Shu Uemura. And they've just launched a really great corner lash curler too, to give you a subtle lift. www.spacenk.com

Q: My mum's going through the menopause and thinks that her hair is falling out. Is this normal and do you have any recommendations for hair products she could try to prevent this? Thanks! - LeilaLu
A: You need to send your mum to Philip Kingsley's hair salon where they specialise in hair loss. www.philipkingsley.com

Q: My hair is heat damaged due to my GHD addiction. How can I repair it? I really don't want to cut much off as I'm growing my hair. Please help! - Birkin09
A: There's a great mask treatment by Ojon, which is made from a special tree found in Central America. The women that use the oil extracted from the tree are know as 'the people with beautiful hair'. Alternatively try Aussie 3-Minute Miracle (nationwide) - it certainly won't break the bank and is great at putting moisture back into hair. Or Kerastase's Nectar Thermique is also good but you must make sure you use it daily for at least a week to nurture your hair back into shape. www.qvcuk.com, ww.kerastase.co.uk
