If there's one place where the notoriously eccentric Lady GaGa should feel comfortable, it's Japan – birthplace of karaoke, Harajuku, love hotels and musical toilets. Indeed, the platinum-haired star looked as though she'd found her spiritual home when she appeared on Japanese TV earlier this week in huge sunglasses and a futuristic denim number by Jeremy Scott (an outfit that included knickers as outerwear, obv). Until the (very, very enthusiastic) hosts started talking to her, that is. If GaGa was having trouble understanding Jonathan Ross's accent when she appeared on his show in April, this is something else. Savour it: seven minutes of pure, unadulterated confusion from an otherwise supremely confident, outspoken pop star. Made us giggle, anyway.
