There's a new trend in fashion, ladies – and it's all about DIY. No, not putting up shelves in your wardrobe, but designing your own footwear. Judging by the number of you (and us from the Grazia office) that flocked to Selfridges to customise your own Havaianas last week, it's the next big thing. Even Victoria Beckham made it down there! And now it seems designers are getting in on the arts and crafts act too. To celebrate the launch of the Selfridges in-store customised Havaianas shop, celebrities and designers have come together to create their own version of the cult flip-flops. Matthew Williamson went pink and jewelled, and Alek Wek showed off her graffiti talents, but our favourites are Paul Smith's graphic colourful soles. The customised Havaianas will go on display next Monday 15 June, when customers can bid via silent auction for a chance to win the one-off pieces. Plus, all money raised will be donated to CLIC Sargent, offering support to young cancer sufferers, so you can shop with a clear conscience!
