The British Fashion Council sure do know how to spoil us. First it was Burberry who announced they would be returning to their British roots, then Matthew Williamson jumped on the London Fashion Week bandwagon, and now the latest fashion house to announce it's arriving on our shores this September is none other than Pringle of Scotland. And we can't think of any other fashion label we'd rather see back on British soil given Pringle's quintessential English-ness and Brit-girl ad campaigns. Fast becoming the go-to brand for the Alexa Chungs and Pixie Geldofs of this world, Creative Director Clare Waight Keller commented that Pringle were ‘unbelievably excited' about the move back to London on the eve of their 195th birthday, ‘especially as this year our own anniversary coincides with the BFC's 25 year celebrations', while new CEO Mary-Adair Macaire explained that ‘it made sense that if we are a British brand and our history is here, then we should be showing in London.' We couldn't agree more. Welcome back Pringle!
