Because when Michelle Obama greeted ex-First Lady Nancy Reagan at the White House yesterday, she wore a Gap striped top she bought for £12.50 and floral cardi – only available in the US. Granted, her white bouclé skirt from Michael Kors may have come in at a slightly higher price, but Mobama still managed to look First Lady-appropriate in a predominantly high street ensemble. Top marks Mrs O. Again!
