Topshop continues its US takeover

We all knew that once Toppers went Stateside it was going to be a big success. And not a day goes by when we don't spot another Manhattanite running around town in their latest purchase from Sir Phil's top shop. Mary Kate Olsen developed a small obsession when she was papped in no less than three outfits from the Broadway store, Lauren Conrad went on a spree just a week after the opening, and the eternally chic Kate Bosworth even stopped by with a very reluctant boyfriend in tow when she was in town. So good news for all you fashionistas over in the Big Apple, because Sir Philip Green has just confirmed he plans to open a second store in New York after the rip-roaring success of the flagship: 'It's doing very well, New Yorkers like it. The sales mix is not wildly different to our stores in the UK.' We hear that the second store location has yet to be finalised, but there are further plans to open up 15 new stores across the US in the future. Ooh, we can't wait.
