Kate Moss’s new fashion obsession

Despite her trailblazing credentials, you have to admire that when Kate Moss discovers a good fashion thing, she sticks with it. Her failsafe classic items range from silk patterned blouses to Mary-Jane shoes to black tux jackets – but the latest contender for most-adored item has to be the black fringed Genevieve Jones bag she's been toting around non stop since November! Looks like the ever-satisfying swishiness of a fringe bag has tempted La Moss away from the host of arm candy she most probably owns, and persuaded her to become a loyal one-bag-only kinda woman. So what's the back story? Well, Thailand-based designer Genevieve is actually better known for her jewellery designs and her social scene status than designing bags, but when Kate met her on a night out and expressed just how much she loved the fringed number she was carrying, Genevieve kindly gave her a big fat discount the very next day. (Well you would, wouldn't you?) Because, hey presto, this fairly rare and hard to get hold of piece (approx £500) has been transformed overnight into a fashion phenomenon that many a style maven has been trying to get their mitts on ever since.
