There's nothing better than a quick, cheap fashion trick to update your wardrobe. So we persuaded Grazia's shopping editor – and resident office styling guru – Sophie Ferguson Jones to share her tips every week....
1. Dig into granny's treasure box and adorn knit tops with clusters of mix-and-match brooches. Even revamp your Alice band with them as Dolce & Gabbana did for Victoria Beckham. This crystal and pearl one is £58 from Martine Wester.
2. Since it's still too cold to get the toes out in those hot new sandals you bought (note to self: this morning especially!) wear a pair of scrunched-down calf socks with sandals and a cute wispy dress à la Burberry S/S '09. 3. Make like Rachel Bilson and flash your cuffs and collar by pulling them out under a boyfriend blazer for a shrunken schoolboy look.
