Yikes. Is this everyone's worst nightmare? Intending to reveal ‘a different side' of the iconic fashion designer, ex-Lagerfeld assistant Arnaud Maillard has just penned a tell-all account of his time with Chanel's main man. And it looks set to be a scorcher. Ironically titled Merci Karl!, the book has already revealed that Lagerfeld 'needs an eternity to get ready in the morning' and 'takes photos of himself at every photo shoot and puts them everywhere'. But he doesn't stop there, because apparently Karl also 'dumps people at the drop of a dime' and 'surrounds himself with a kind of royal court, [where] nobody disagrees with him'.
