9am news: listen to Kate Moss’s new single, and the musical!

15 May 2009

We can't say we were that surprised when the news broke that Kate Moss would be lending her pipes to a Lemonheads track, especially given her penchant for those rocker boyfriends of hers. But now that the track's actually been released, we have to say it's pretty decent. Scroll down the playlist to listen to Dirty Robot. [Dazed Digital]

We reckon Kate Moss should be buddying up with Mrs Martin too, because in Gwyneth Paltrow's latest GOOP instalment, she lists her top ten tunes on how to ‘get down'. That's right ‘get down'. And turns out some of her fave artists are The Strokes, MGMT, Arcade Fire, M.I.A., LCD Soundsystem and Coldplay. Too cool Gwynnie, too cool... [Goop]

Continuing on the musical theme, Bridget Jones the musical is in the works for a 2011 West End premiere. And although Renée Zellweger won't be reprising her role on stage, we can't wait to see who's going to be wearing those granny pants. Huzzah. [Daily Mail]

And finally Julia Restoin Roitfeld, aka queen bee in fashion spawn terms, has allowed photographers into her swanky New York apartment. And her shoe cupboard. Jealous? Us? [Fashionologie]
