Songstress Katy Perry takes fashion very seriously. She made her first style statement aged 11 when she wore a leopard-print coat that all her school friends laughed at. It hasn't put her off wacky fashion though. She apparently is usually ‘trying to look like a party' (which explains the Grammy's fruit dress, perhaps?) and refuses to wear the same outfit twice on tour, giving her castoffs to friends. But her favourite part of getting into fashion now she's in the limelight? The freebies. ‘People give me stuff and I'm like – I don't have to buy this? I used to save up for this shit all the time.'
