Morning round-up: Olivier Theyskens on his extra-curricular activities, and why Anna Wintour’s fuming

08 May 2009

Looks like we're not the only ones still talking about the Met Ball. Ex Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens has just spoken out on his obvious enjoyment of the after-parties: 'The parties tonight are great, but they don't compare to three days ago, when I sat by the Seine on my own and smoked cigarillos. It's my favorite thing in the world. I smoke this brand La Paz – they're cheap but it's what I always buy. And then, I peed into the Seine. It's the best thing I did all week.' Classy. [Hint Mag]

While we're on the subject (it's the last time, cross our hearts), we're suffering from serious Met Ball boyfriend envy. Because not only has Jessica Biel managed to bag the Trousersnake, but JT also spent $60,000 on her jewellery for the occasion as a romantic gesture. Sigh... [Fametastic]

Meanwhile, Anna Wintour is reportedly fuming over the ongoing Kiefer Sutherland saga. And not because of the fact that a Hollywood actor headbutted a high-end designer in public, but because ‘now that's all anyone is talking about, not her party'. Quelle surprise... [The Cut]

And finally, Paris Hilton has sealed the fate of PAs round the world after revealing that she doesn't need to keep a diary for meetings. 'I just press my name and Google it and see.' But of course you do Paris, why didn't we think of that. [Daily Mail]
