The morning after the Met Ball

No one can accuse the fashion crowd of not partying in style. The A-list moved on from the Met Ball to after-parties across New York that raged on into the wee hours. So how were the stars coping yesterday in the harsh light of a new day? Agyness Deyn looked like she was suffering, clutching a cup of coffee as she wandered through SoHo, make-up free and wearing her trademark off-duty uniform of DMs and leggings. Hardly surprising considering she and new pals Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler stumbled out of Bungalow 8 after dancing to Madonna tunes all night. (Good move washing out that shampoo-and-set granny-chic hair, though.) But like the professional she is, Agyness had recovered by the evening and looked fresh-faced and clutching popcorn at a VIP movie screening hosted by Tommy Hilfiger. No competition for the fashionista with most stamina, though – Stella McCartney. The designer had partied hard with Agy and co. but was still on top form the next day, delivering witticisms at an exclusive shopping event. ‘Vodka and tonics,' she said when asked how she gets her creative juices flowing – hardcore, considering the champagne had no doubt been flowing freely the night before. We doubt Victoria Beckham's head was hurting yesterday, however. She had valiantly dragged herself away from her sick bed to be Marc Jacobs' date for the Met Ball, so left early and looked her usual groomed self the next morning. Ah, hope you're feeling better now VB – you've got to make a guest appearance with Mr Armani later, after all... Check in right here this afternoon for pictures and gossip from the event. Ooh, it's a fashion-marathon in NY this week. May as well take advantage while they're all in town we guess...
