Next Monday night in New York, Kate Moss co-hosts the biggest fashion night out in the world - the annual Met Ball in New York - with Marc Jacobs and Anna Wintour. The event is so hugely important on the fashion calendar that attendees prepare for weeks to get fit, look good, and find their prefect outfit. And for Moss, who will no doubt be nervous, the night will be a high point of her career. She will need all the goodwill and support she can muster. So how sweet is Sir Philip Green who is telling friends he has gone all out to get a prominent table for ten at the event so they can cheer her on. He does have a small irritant, however. He is rumoured to be surprised at the £100,000 cost of the table. We are too. £100,000! Well, we suppose the money does help sustain the artworks in New York's Metropolitan Museum... The richest man in UK fashion, Sir Philip is famously budget conscious but he's decided he wants to be there for his mate Kate and to support the woman who has made him famous in America. All together now, ahhh...!
