Just like Coco Chanel herself, the new movie about her life is courting controversy. The poster for Coco Avant Chanel has been banned from appearing on Parisian buses and trains because Audrey Tautou is pictured smoking. Poor film companies can't win, can they? If they hadn't shown Coco smoking – she was famous for being a 50-a-day type of woman – they probably would have been accused of being historically inaccurate. Now they have, they won't get advertising across France, where the movie opens today. The French health minister apparently thinks it's ridiculous. Do you? [Daily Mail]
