Lady GaGa ain't feeling no credit crunch. (So what is her excuse for not wearing trousers in public then?) In fact, the pop star and fashion rebel is positively loving her week-long London visit because she's taking advantage of the weak pound against the dollar. ‘I had more of a beer budget when I was in New York so I used to just buy rhinestones and all kinds of beads and find things in my apartment which were cool and I'd glue them onto $3 bras. But now I can go vintage shopping in London. It's the best,' she revealed in an interview on The Paul O'Grady Show last night about how she's splashing her newly accumulated cash. (God, how we love her publicity whores, sorry tours, of Britain). ‘I don't want Land Rovers or Condos. I just want props and fashion.' Hmmm... we're trying not to be bitter about the hordes of fashion tourists who are flocking to the UK and splashing out on our British bargains. Just one question: how can we become enrolled in the House of GaGa and take part in this kooky shopping spree? We promise our native thrifty tips would be seriously invaluable to your second-hand chic, GaGa. Pretty please...?
