Kate Moss wanted one. Tilda Swinton had put in a request. And Kanye's girl Amber Rose, and singer Róisín Murphy were fans of Pam Hogg's liquid metal catsuit, too. So how come model and ex-wife of footballer Thierry Henry, Claire Merry, came to be wearing the most-wanted item in fashion first? We called Pam Hogg herself to find out. ‘She came to me a month ago,' Pam says from her about to open pop-up store. ‘She'd been to my catwalk show and wanted one of the A/W pieces, so she got in touch. She told me she wanted something futuristic for a premiere.' Futuristic, it certainly was... Some people have said the catsuit looks crazy but we think Claire looks hot (though some funkier hair and make-up would have really made it work). And we admire her chutzpah. Pam made the catsuit to measure. ‘I can make the catsuits to fit anyone, and if a person feels self-conscious about their shape I can use black panels to hide bits. But Claire didn't need it. She looked pretty damn hot.' That she did, and all for £850.
