16 April 2009

Every week, we scour the beauty cupboard for the best solutions to your burning beauty questions. So want to know what nail colour's hot for summer sandals? How to get your pale pins ready for bare legs weather? Or what's the new miracle eye cream? Well, now's your chance. Just email graziadaily@graziamagazine.co.uk or post your question below. That way, other Grazia beauty devotees can let you know their tips and tricks, too!

Q. I want to try a new lip gloss as I am fed up with wearing the same pale pink colours. What other colours do you suggest for summer? I don't want to wear anything too bright as I like to keep my make-up natural looking.

A. Hmm... it seems to us like you're in a serious make-up rut! To break out of your pale pink gloss habit, check out the retro-style Lip Lingerie range by former New York model Dianne Brill. They come in super-cute cupcake cases and are packed full of lip-nourishing vitamins and minerals. We're tipping the sheer coral shade 'Frilly Thongs' as summer's hottest colour!

Q. I currently use MAC powder blusher but, for some reason, in the last couple of weeks it's started to look a bit wrong – flaky and dry. Why? And what should I use instead? I have got pale skin with normally quite rosy cheeks.

A. With summer just around the corner and temperatures (hopefully!) warming up, your skin is going to have a tendency towards dryness. So why not switch from a powder to a cream blush? We're loving Becca's Beach Tint, which comes in a cream stain that glides on smoothly and contains vitamin E to keep your cheeks looking peachy-smooth! It comes in two shades (watermelon and peach) plus, as well as doubling up as a lip stain, it's water resistant too. The perfect multitasking beauty buy!
