Despite the weatherman's promises that today would be the hottest day of the year (hotter than Greece, apparently), the cloud over London is holding firm. But that sure hasn't stopped a 33 per cent rise in swimwear sales at Selfridges. So to celebrate the department store's continuing success, swimwear label Pistol Panties is launching a limited-edition £2,000 bling-kini available in London, Manchester and Birmingham. The ‘Anita' is made from over 5,000 brightly coloured Swarovski Austrian crystals and its small, yet perfectly formed, surface area, costs just over £100 per square centimetre. There's already a waiting list in place to make sure customers don't leave disappointed. We just advise that you don't get it wet, the weight of the bling will be enough to carry on the beach!
