Pablo Flack, the co-founder of London's most fashiony restaurant, Bistrotheque, was buzzing with business developments at last night's Barbie party at Dover Street Market. For years people have been nagging Pablo and his business partner David Waddington to open more - especially as the one and only Bistrotheque is housed in Hackney, east London, very inconvenient for those lazier diners who won't leave the west of the city. But they have always been adamant that "one is enough." Until last night! It was a lovely surprise when Pablo told us "we are planning two new restaurants and a hotel". But while he wouldn't reveal where (apart from the cryptic clue "they are all in places that begin with B, and one of them in not in the UK"), he did tell us that Bistrotheque and the boys are taking residency at the Royal Academy again this Christmas season, with another of their pop up restaurants. Pablo promises it will be like nothing we've seen before. "We are working with a set builder, and diners will feel like they are part of a stage set." We wouldn't expect anything less.
