When we popped into the Vivienne Westwood press day on our way home yesterday, our expert eye was instantly drawn to the super duper platforms sitting alongside the A/W 09 Gold Label collection. Housed in a glass case at the back of the show room, we couldn't touch (boo), but we could certainly look, and we reckon our noses came pretty damn close to cracking that glass as memories of Naomi Campbell's legendary fall in similar style shoes came flooding back. The lace-up platform boots, inspired by those Naomi wore circa 1993, were used for Viv's show in Paris just a month ago. And though this time they didn't floor any models - even Pamela Anderson - it made us frankly desperate to relive the now infamous fashion moment Naomi took a tumble. And it looks like we weren't the only ones. So here's the YouTube version to allow you to indulge in a little fashion flashback...
