Phew! It's only been 24 hours and already Michelle Obama has chosen pieces by her favourite designers Thakoon, Jason Wu, Jimmy Choo and Azzedine Alaïa. But all eyes were on her Downing Street ensemble this morning as she stood alongside her husband and the Browns – with Sarah wearing a piece by American-born working womenswear designer Britt Lintner – and she sure didn't disappoint. Not only were her ivory coloured jewelled cardigan and green pencil skirt classic American chic, but it turns out she's a woman after our own hearts, as both pieces were by US high street giant J Crew. And we're guessing they won't be Mrs O's only high street get-up on her European tour... Watch this space!
