LA Fashion Week: The need-to-know name

LA Fashion Week is to New York what Liverpool Fashion Week is to London: one for the WAGs. But as today sees the final minidresses stomping their way down the runways over in California, we figured it was about time someone paid them some attention. And more specifically to Mr Kevan Hall, who had many a lady-who-lunches clamouring at the doors of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel yesterday in place of the perma-tanned, denim-hotpants-clad bunnies we're more used to seeing. Much to the delight of 75-year-old Hollywood doyenne Joan Collins, sat front row of course, Hall delivered a mature collection of well-constructed trench-coats, belted pencils and sleek animal-print jersey dresses. Hmmm, now if only Caprice could follow suit after that lingerie collection...
