WATCH Carine Roitfeld’s Fashion Week experience

There was barely room for her Balmain shoulder pads as there were so many cameras following French Vogue editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld around Paris Fashion Week. But, watching this teaser for her CNN documentary, we reckon the squish on the front row was worth it. You get to see how many times Carine changes in one day; Karl Lagerfeld's thoughts on the uber editor – ‘I like her coquettish manner' – and Carine musing on her favourite model. ‘She doesn't walk very well on the catwalk but we love her because she's different,' she says of Lara Stone. Hmm... And we love you Carine, for giving us a sneak preview into the Parisian fashion bubble. Catch the entire documentary yourself on CNN International from 6.30pm this evening, or visit the CNN website once it's aired. It'll clear up one thing for certain. Despite rumours to the contrary, Carine's not taking over from Anna Wintour as editor-in-chief of US Vogue. She thinks it's too commercial for her and doesn't think her English is good enough to head up the fashion bible. But considering she just smiles when the presenter effectively calls Anna, ahem, old, we're just waiting to see how Wintour will respond with her documentary that's due out later this year. We feel a TV ratings war coming on...
