Hmm, looks like all this Fashion Week business has taken its toll on the British Fashion Council. Because as part of its 25th year anniversary plans, the BFC has announced that long-time powerhouse Hilary Riva will be stepping down as CEO. Which, in fashion-speak, is huge news! Hilary will now be chairing a new development committee focusing on future BFC projects, which will reinvigorate London Fashion Week, and make plans for future growth, which we're hoping means more funding for the William Tempest-alikes of this world. One thing we do know is that the move to Somerset House definitely gets our vote - as much as we love the Natural History Museum, we prefer to see dinosours there rather than fashion beasts - so all they need to do now is demand London's Fashion Week back.
