A model beauty blunder

11 March 2009

Turns out bagging an exclusive modelling contract at Givenchy has some downsides. New model on the block Dree Hemingway, great granddaughter of legend Ernest, confessed she had some beauty dramas with the eyebrow dye backstage at Riccardo Tisci's show. ‘They dyed them white, then I reacted so they went orange and then they dyed them way darker! I keep getting a shock in the mirror,' she said at the Stella McCartney after-party last night. No wonder she's pleased to be heading back home to New York. Mind you, something tells us Dree had better get used to some eyebrow interference. After getting the nod from Givenchy she's bound to be seriously in demand next season. [WWD]

UPDATE: Dree just tweeted that she's back in New York (via a plane ride sitting two places away from Anna Wintour) and off to get her eyebrows sorted. 'first things first... definitely need my eyebrow dyed back to a normal color... somehow they went from natural-blorange-brown-black... ugh' Good luck!
