Morning round-up: Madonna v Britney, plus drama on the Parisian FROW…

05 March 2009

The Britney Circus tour – and Dsquared2 costume – reviews are in. And they're mixed. Most worrying? Despite making up one half of that kiss, Madonna is reportedly not a fan of Britney Spears' music. [Daily Mail, The Superficial]

Someone resisting the credit crunch is Lanvin's Alber Elbaz, who refuses to downsize his Paris show tomorrow. ‘If you invite only the editors in chief – all the writers, the assistants lose their dream.' Three cheers, Alber. [WWD]

That's not to say there isn't drama on the FROW in Paris already. Anna Wintour's sneaking in the cameraman filming a documentary about her to the notoriously-impossible-to-crash Balenciaga show this morning. Quelle horror! [Twitter]

Meanwhile, it's not just the fash pack Tweeting. Rumour has it that the Queen will become the first member of the Royal family to join Twitter. Could she be any cooler? [Telegraph]

And how about this for a morning round-up conundrum. Helena Christensen was married for five years and had a string of romances with Josh Hartnett, Leo DiCaprio and Michael Hutchence. And yet the supermodel claims she's never lived with a man. Hmmmm... [Daily Mail]
