If you think Swedish fashion is all Abba jumpsuits and Ikea uniforms, think again. Since the 1990s, Sweden has been the bubbling underbelly of cool and directional style – remember all our stories on Stockholm Fashion Week? Think Acne, Ann-Sofie Back and knitwear queen Sandra Buckland for starters... So, for our look book of the week, we're sharing our lust for House of Dagmar with you stylish lot. Run by three sisters in Stockholm, Dagmar has been steadily gaining recognition since their launch in 2005. And this S/S ‘09 collection has that laid-back cool that we want for spring (the fashion team went nuts for it when some samples landed on our desks). They've updated basics like chinos, cardigans, tailoring and tube dresses with soft Art Deco pastel hues, shot through with dark architectural stripes and hazy tropical prints. It's feminine, it's sensual and it's going straight into our wardrobes. Prices start at £60 for a jersey top and go up to £580 for a suede jacket. Stockist: 0207 739 3573.
