Gareth Pugh might have kicked off Paris Fashion Week yesterday with a surprise film shown to the fashion pack in a dry-ice filled warehouse. But the other designers set to show in Paris are still busy toiling away in their ateliers and studios. So time to drop in and pick up some tips on what we can expect... John Galliano is using an Ikat weave he's pretty sure Mr Dior would have loved for his A/W collection, which goes down the catwalk tomorrow. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac clearly hasn't lost his sense of humour. Last season he showcased Obama-sequinned dresses and this time the theme is Sesame Street. ‘Who'd have though I'd be doing this at almost 60!' he's been whooping. Looks like there will be a lot of chains at Chloé, square bangles at Loewe, and the only clue from Maison Martin Margiela is a glass slipper, Cinderella-style. What can it mean? Guess we'll find out tomorrow night. Paris Fashion Week news updated as it happens right here, people... [WWD]
