Here's a sign that London Fashion Week was widely regarded as a huge success – even, it seems, by absent editors and buyers. After watching the shows from their laptops, the fashion industry insiders who did not attend London Fashion Week, were seriously wishing they had. So the British Fashion Council are taking London's hottest new designers to Paris – where this Friday they'll reshow certain pieces from their collection. So great is their pulling power we've heard the event - which starts with a brunch hosted by American Vogue/Style.com's Sarah Mower – is already oversubscribed with international editors and buyers, including Ikram Goldman. Otherwise known as Michelle Obama's fashion guru (Michelle buys almost all her clothes from Ikram's eponymous shop in Chicago), Ikram is apparently very keen to check out the Meadham Kirchhoff collection. Hmmm. Somehow we can't see Michelle O wearing those embellished skinny jeans. But those encrusted Manolo's perhaps....
