Kate Winslet might have scooped best-dressed lists around the world for her YSL Oscar dress (not to mention her statuette) but her eight-year-old daughter Mia didn't approve, saying, ‘I need to talk to you about the dress – it was grey.' Now, there's a fashion critic... [US Magazine]

With New York and London down and Milan and Paris still to go, the fashion world is sticking two fingers up to the credit crunch. And not just on the catwalks. Over at Christie's the Yves Saint Laurent auction is pulling in some serious wedge, with over $264 million dollars made already... [WWD]

Someone's still got their head screwed on though. Sam Ronson has denied that girlfriend Li.Lo hands out a whopping $500 per haircut for her. 'If for some reason I decided that I was going to throw $500 away on a haircut, I would pay for it myself.
