London Fashion Weekend round-up

23 February 2009

What a whirlwind of a weekend! In case we didn't mention it enough last week London Fashion Week officially kicked off on Friday so we've spent every second over the last 76 hours tracking the fashion (and beauty, goodie bags, canapés and champagne!). So if you didn't make it to the tents, here's the lowdown of what's gone on so far. Think of it like your cut out and keep crib-sheet. Enough for you to be able to make out your flight got delayed on the way back from New York Fashion Week – or something... Oh, and don't forget it's still going on. So come back to Grazia Daily for half hourly updates – and follow our live Twittering from the Tents right here. In the meantime, the best bits so far:

Best space: PPQ - Burlington Arcade became the longest, narrowest catwalk...

Best FROW: Sienna Miller sure drew in the crowd for her and sister Savannah's Twenty8Twelve debut show.

Best A-list moment: Kanye crashing Christopher Kane 30 seconds before it ended.

Best soundtrack: Is it clichéd to say MGMT at Unique? Could be a tie with Ghostbusters at Ann-Sofie Back ...

Best goodie-bags: Danielle Scutt - for the Barbie chocolates that we scoffed last night!

Best performance: Noisettes at Café de Paris - check back later for a video...

Best outfit: Cecilia Dean at the Browns party - we want those shoes!

Best cocktail: The Bellinis at Whisky Mist

Best barman: Still don't know his name but the chiselled guy from the back bar at PPQ party at Café de Paris. YUM.

Best DJ: Jade Jagger, just because she was with her hubby and being sickeningly cute.

Best breakdown: Richard Nicoll 5 minutes before the show - nothing to worry about now though!

Best model moment: Jo Wood at Vivienne Westwood. There are no words.

Best food: Mini Mars bars at Ashish.

Best fight club: Press and photographers throwing punches (nearly) at Nathan Jenden.

Best quote: ‘I have six girls to do in four minutes, I really can't talk right now'.
