Let's leave the Vivienne Westwood front row until tomorrow - or should that be second row, where Jaimie Winstone and Pixie are currently residing - because it's so stellar it demands serious attention and take a moment to reflect on today's funniest FROW moments.
Pixie Geldof practically the first person seated at Charles Anastase (she must be keen), wearing a baggy beanie and leather jacket. She clearly loves her Blackberry - is there a bit of Twittering going on pre-show as the FROW is reshuffled time and time again? Then we're off. Pixie's giggling to her friends as Charles's squatters in a French Chateau stride down the catwalk. She's eyeing up those studded biker boots. And points to the sequinned jumpsuit with nipple marks on them as it goes by. Doesn't even mind it when one model almost falls into her. Bless.
Daisy Lowe meanwhile spends 10 minutes posing outside for the photographers. Consequently misses her place on the FROW and relegated to standing. Shame. Sure makes her presence felt with squealing that greets her reunion with Pixie afterward.
Dixie - that's Daisy and Pixie ‘cos you so know they're going to be the LFW double act this season - trot off to Topshop space for the Unique show. Giggle over something clearly highly entertaining on Pixie's finger. New ring? Tattoo? Just some dirt under her fingernails? They're riveted.
Meanwhile uptown (we mean on the FROW, not the map) sits a very different clientele. Barbara Hulanick, aka. the founder of iconic London store Biba, sits resplendent in her trademark thick bob and big reading glasses. She's the ultimate It girl. And we can't help but think Dixie should hook up with her for some tips? Acutally, maybe not. It could get dangerous. Anyway, we digress. We reckon Barbara's FROW at Topshop Unique because she's launching a collection with the store in April. A serious contender for the kind of Kate Moss mania we saw all those years ago when she first launched her wear there...
FROW watch wouldn't be complete with Kanye West - spotted at Peter Jensen and Ann-Sofie Back. This is how his journey went (in our eyes anyway): hangry, where's the food; yum, sausage roll; bored, bored, bored; oooh, she's hot; I am not going to take my eyes off her down the catwalk and I don't care if my open mouth shows it; darn, she's gone; bored, bored, bored; wow - Ann Sofie Back's psycho killer collection is quite scary; but actually really amazing; clap, clap, clap; and we're gone...
More tomorrow. Will Alexa turn up???
