Morning round-up: Victoria unveils her latest collection, plus Mrs O's NYFW spies...

Victoria Beckham New York Fashion Week

Victoria Beckham has listened to her (mostly Russian and Middle Eastern) customers and made her second dress collection younger, with shorter hemlines, and more comfortable, by removing last season's obligatory ‘obi' corset. The collection's found favour with the fashion set out in NY. The only hiccup? When Mrs B described a grey cashmere dress as ‘very Mad Max'. She meant Mad Men. Best be picking up that box set, then... [Times, Guardian]

Michelle Obama might not have RSVP’d to fashion week, but she's sent her spies. White House social secretary Desiree Rogers (looking fashwan in a floral jacket from Nina Ricci) was nestled next to Anna Wintour at the Donna Karan show yesterday and made a pit stop at Carolina Herrera too. [Gawker]

Salma Hayek's set for life, clothes-wise at least. She's married her long-term partner and father of her daughter, the French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault. He is also chief executive of the luxury goods group PPR, which owns high-end labels Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Balenciaga. [Telegraph]

Kate Moss is not, we repeat not, pregnant. ‘I just put on a couple of pounds and they went in the right place. I got boobs!' She's worried her boyfriend Jamie Hince might not like her bulging B-cup, though. We'd be more worried about Uncle Phil, if we were you Kate. He's the one telling you what you can't wear (Marc Jacobs) and what you can (Topshop). [New York Magazine]

Erin O'Connor's gone all mother hen-like for the models at London Fashion Week. Her Model Sanctuary offers ‘a continuous stream of food – muesli, yogurt, pastries and coffee for breakfast'. At lunchtime they have wraps, salads and lots of healthy choices. Space at the table for us? [Independent]
