If this week's GraziaDaily Playlist was a shoe, it would be a Swarovski-encrusted, towering Louboutin heel. In other words, it's glamorous, of the moment and made for partying. It is, after all, the weekend in a few short hours (even if it is Valentine's Day tomorrow, yawn...)
First, we're ever so obsessed with bedroom synth queen Little Boots, who plays at the Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight, as part of the NME Tour. If you're not lucky enough to be attending, have a listen to this. Genius:
On a similarly upbeat note, we've just heard a fresh remix of Frankmusik's new single Better Off As Two, by none other than very cool girl duo Fan Death – whose disco-inspired style and false eyelashes are also tickling our fancy.
Just back from their shoot in New York, our fashion team tell us that the soundtrack of the shoot was Jay-Z ft. Santogold, Brooklyn Go Hard – apparently the photographer was obsessed with it – and we can see why!
But we've got to hand it to M.I.A. this week - as well as being the sound of the BAFTAs this week (according to our spies they were playing the Slumdog Millionaire track constantly), she stole the show at the Grammys with her Henry Holland-designed, risqué take on maternity chic. But whatever you think of that ensemble, who doesn't love O Saya, her Oscar-nominated Slumdog track?
Finally, may we recommend Passion Pit's Sleepyhead? Just because it's ace, and after one listen we really want to make a date with the dance floor. And if that's wrong, well, we don't want to be right. Happy weekend!
