Clever old Keira Knightly. At the premiere of her other-half Rupert Friend's new film, Cheri, last night the actress was first to debut a look from the Chloé pre-fall '09 collection – a grey high-waisted suit. It's months before the collection will hit stores so Keira's not only proved she's a speedy shopper, but also that she's got a beady eye for what's going to be hot on the catwalks when the A/W shows kick off this Friday in New York. Chloé designer Hannah MacGibbon's pre-fall collection – full of 1980s-style sharp shoulders, 7/8 trousers and bows – gives a nod to what we can expect to see from her second season at Chloé at Paris Fashion Week. Has Keira been picking up tips from her first couture fashion show in the French capital last month then? And will she be returning to her place on the front row this show season? Here's hoping. We're liking this high-fashion departure from Keira's usual dressed-down grunge look. But what do you think of her red carpet style?
