Matthew Williamson for H&M features peacock motif

Another week, another leak about the Matthew Williamson for H&M collection. (Aka, the most anticipated high-street designer collaboration since, well, Comme des Garcons for H&M we guess.) The designer's clearly been picking up inspiration from his travels – remember, he's been to Brazil to shoot the advertising campaign where he ‘explodes from a shooting star', Mexico to shoot the TV advert and South Africa just for a break from it all – for his high street collection. It's full of ‘eclectic prints' inspired by the ‘savvy world traveller' and features a lot of bright colours and the famous Matthew Williamson peacock print. ‘Colour is a major element in defining my signature style,' he revealed this week. ‘I took inspiration from a peacock motif, as seen in my collections, to develop a palette of blues, chartreuse, and emerald.
