An Oscars heads up

Award shows are our Achilles heel - you know it as well as we do. If we hear even the littlest rumour about who might be wearing what, we jump on it every time. But we did try to keep some composure when we heard that the vintage emporium, Decades, in London's Dover Street Market, has sent a trunk of dresses off to LA for the nominees to try on.  Among them is a design by the award-winning Galapos, who used to dress Diana Ross (can we expect sequins on Natalie Portman?). When Dover Street Market sent a selection over for the Golden Globes, Heidi Klum picked out a polka-dot Galapos number, and stood out on the red-carpet, because it was a brave choice that looked amazing. After a safe Golden Globes we hope that the Oscar girls pull out a trick or two - and Decades never fails to deliver.
