Now here's a smart approach to the credit crunch. Down to your last million and need to spend wisely on a pair of shoes to go with your couture dress? Bruno Frisoni at Roger Vivier has the answer: a three-in-one shoe. A perfectly chic and understated stiletto pump that becomes much more of a statement when fastened to its own detachable platform, especially when that platform's attached by a ribbon and brooch that can be worn separately as jewellery. Ta DAH! Frisoni insists that the shoe is for ladies of leisure to wear ‘from the sofa to the bedroom', but for how much? As with all things on show for Paris Couture Week, we can only guess. You don't ever find out unless you are prepared to fork out. But given that each pair takes a full 30 days to make, you can probably hazard a guess. Oh well, our fashion fantasies are free!!!!
